Recently bought this bad boy. Needs love. Nothing some parts at rockauto won’t fix. (Needs to be fixed so I can drive it 5 hours home.)

My grandpa had a Probe GT just like that, black with red interior and a 5-speed. 6yo me thought it was just the coolest thing ever and I made him promise to give it to me once I got my license. Sadly didn’t last that long.

2nd gen MX-6 V6 is my dream car, but i’ll see how this 1st gen turbo goes. this is a Ford for the sake of the badge, i still feel this is still a Mazda.

Yeah the styling of the MX-6 has aged better than the probe, but I really like both generations of MX6 to be honest, from a styling standpoint.

But the first gens (never driven a second gen) were really pretty good to drive. Fun little cars!

I’ve heard the engine can take 600+ hp pretty easily with just a beefier clutch, never got to do much with mine it was a money pit and the wife cut me off. Still love the shape though and they can be stupid fast with just a bigger turbo and a tune/exhaust.
